Welcome to the Boyne Forever Foundation Grants Portal! This is where eligible organizations can submit and manage requests for both in-kind support and external grant funding, track application status, and complete required reporting.

The Boyne Forever Foundation supports nonprofit organizations, tribal nations, municipalities and schools whose work aligns with our mission and creates meaningful impact in the communities where Boyne Resorts owns and operates its properties. To be eligible for in-kind or external funding, organizations must serve one or more of these resort communities. Please see below for more details about external funding.

In-kind applications are requests for donated goods, services, experiences, volunteer support, or other non-monetary contributions that create meaningful community impact and align with our mission. Requests for smaller-scale cash support of $2,000 or less may also be submitted through this application. All requests are submitted through the resort nearest to or most closely connected with your organization or project. To apply, please use the portal button below to select the appropriate resort location and provide details about your organization, intended impact, and how the support will be used. Each request is reviewed individually by the submitting resort team, who will follow up regarding next steps or any additional information needed.

External grants offer direct funding for eligible projects and initiatives requesting more than $2,000. Our next external grant cycle opens on June 1, 2026. By selecting the grants button below, qualifying organizations can apply for funding opportunities, track application status, and complete any required follow-up reporting. Before submitting an application, please review our grant focus areas and eligibility criteria to confirm your project aligns with our mission.

External Grant Eligibility Requirements

  • 501(c)(3) Status - Applicants must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in good standing with the IRS. Schools, municipalities, and tribal entities may also be eligible.
  • Geographic Relevance - Proposed projects must serve communities where Boyne Resorts operates or has a meaningful presence.
  • Mission Alignment - Projects must align with one or more of our core focus areas: Environmental Stewardship, Community Vitality, or Team Member Excellence.
  • Financial Transparency - Applicants must demonstrate sound financial management. This may include providing recent financial statements, an organizational budget, or audited financials for larger requests.
  • Measurable Impact - Applicants must outline clear goals and expected outcomes, along with a plan for tracking and reporting impact.
  • Non-Discrimination Policy - Applicants must not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic in hiring or service delivery.
  • Project Readiness - Proposals must be well-developed and ready for implementation within 6–12 months of funding, with appropriate staffing and resources in place.
  • One Application per Cycle - Organizations may submit only one application per grant cycle, unless applying for both a Community or Environment grant and an Employee-focused program.
  • Previous Grant Reporting - Past grantees must be in good standing with all reporting requirements before applying for new funding.
